Knit your own Socks

A Two Evening Workshop

A two-evening workshop to guide you through making your first pair of socks.

Suitable for knitters who are confident with casting on, casting off, and knit & purl stitches.

Sock knitters will use the cleverly-designed Regia sock yarn (multi-coloured, and makes you seem like a colourwork pro from the outset!).

This workshop takes place over two evenings:-
Evening 1 will introduce knitting on four needles, and get the sock under way. (You then have two weeks to make the leg section as long/short as you like),
Evening 2 covers the ancient art of “turning the heel” and starting the foot section, and casting off to achieve a seam-free finish.

Warning: Sock knitting can become addictive!

Materials: If you already have four double-pointed 2.5mm knitting needles, please bring them with you; otherwise needles can be purchased on the day.
Yarn for this workshop is included in the price.
