Introduction to Lace Knitting

Evening Workshop

Have you aspired to having a go at lace knitting, but been daunted by the thought of working with fine yarn and interpreting a chart? If so, this workshop is for you! The techniques are taught using a sample piece worked in double knit yarn, and then you can choose the thickness of yarn you would like to make a lace effect scarf or cowl. This workshop is suitable for knitters who are confident with the basics of casting on and off, and working knit and purl stitches who would like a new challenge and to take their knitting to the next level.

Materials: If you already have a pair of size 4.0mm knitting needles, please bring them with you; otherwise needles can be purchased on the day.
Yarn for this workshop is included in the price.
