Cabled Tea Cosy

Evening Workshop

Cable knitting is a deceptively simple technique, but a very effective way to add texture and interest to a whole range of knitting projects. Learn how to knit a ‘honeycomb stitch’ cable pattern to make a tea cosy, using wool from rare breed North Ronaldsay sheep from Orkney, which comes in a choice of natural, undyed shades. Pattern and yarn are included in the cost of the workshop.

Materials: If you already have a pair of 5.0mm knitting needles and a short cable needle, please bring them with you; otherwise these can be purchased on the day. Yarn for this workshop is included in the price.
