Day Workshop
Brioche Knitting – nothing to do with bread rolls! This workshop introduces the technique of brioche knitting or Fisherman’s rib. It is worked on double-pointed needles to create a reversible fabric which is particularly effective with different colours.
Materials: | If you already have a pair of size 3.25mm double-pointed knitting needles, please bring them with you; otherwise needles can be purchased on the day. Yarn for this workshop is included in the price. |

Refreshments: | Tea/coffee, biscuits and jelly babies are included. The Mill’s Gallery Café offers a wide range of delicious made-to-order lunches from £5.95 see menu (pay the café on the day). If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know – the chef will do his best to accommodate them. Alternatively, you can of course bring your own lunch. |
Getting there: | By car: The nearest parking is in the Central car park, just a few minutes walk away. By train: Salisbury Station is 2 minutes walk away By bus: Some buses stop in Fisherton Street, otherwise we are only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Please check your route. By bike: There is a bike rack available at the Mill. |
