Brioche Knitting

Day Workshop

Brioche Knitting – nothing to do with bread rolls! This workshop introduces the technique of brioche knitting or Fisherman’s rib. It is worked on double-pointed needles to create a reversible fabric which is particularly effective with different colours.

This workshop is suitable for knitters who are confident with casting on and off, and the knit and purl stitches.

As this is a full-day workshop, there’s the option of a light lunch. After adding the workshop to your basket, go to basket and you will see the Lunch option beneath; just click to add. Those opting for lunch will be contacted before the event for details of any specific dietary requirements. Participants can, of course, choose to bring their own lunch if preferred. Drinks and refreshments are provided and included in the cost of the workshop.

Materials: If you already have a pair of size 3.25mm double-pointed knitting needles, please bring them with you; otherwise please get in touch ahead of the workshop to order.
Yarn for this workshop is included in the price.
