Evening Workshop


This Workshop will help ensure that your finished knitting project looks its very best and reflects the time and enthusiasm you put into making it.

The evening covers…

  • Blocking and pressing
  • Sewing up seams
  • Picking up stitches to make neck- and button-bands
  • Making horizontal and vertical buttonholes.

Materials: If you have a project that you have knitted and is waiting to be finished, please bring it along on the evening; alternatively, learn the finishing techniques on samples pieces that we can provide.

You will need to bring a bodkin or large-eyed darning or tapestry needles for the sewing up.

We have small packs of bodkins for sale.
Venue: Born to Knit – Archway Studio 2, Fisherton Mill, 108 Fisherton Street, Salisbury, SP2 7QY (2nd studio on the left through archway entrace to Fisherton Mill).
How to book: Please book online, over the phone or call into the shop.
Refreshments: Tea/coffee, biscuits and jelly babies are included.
Getting there: By car: The nearest parking is in the Central car park, just a few minutes walk away.
By train: Salisbury Station is 2 minutes walk away
By bus: Some buses stop in Fisherton Street, otherwise we are only 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Please check your route.
By bike: There is a bike rack available at the Mill.
