Workshop — Brioche Knitting

Brioche Knitting - nothing to do with bread rolls! This workshop introduces the technique of brioche knitting or Fisherman's rib. It is worked on double-pointed needles and used to create a reversible fabric which is particularly effective with different colours.

Cost: £52 including yarn
How to book: A £10 deposit is needed to secure your place pay this no later than a week before the event
Refreshments: Tea/Coffee, biscuits and jelly babies are included.
 
The Mill's Gallery Café can provide a ‘sandwich platter’ lunch for £5.95 (pay the café on the day). If you have special dietary requirements, please let us know - the chef will do his best to accommodate them.
Alternatively, you can of course bring your own lunch.
Materials: If you already have a pair of size 3.25mm double-pointed knitting needles, please bring them with you; otherwise needles can be purchased on the day.
Yarn for this Workshop is included in the price.
Getting there: The nearest parking is in the Central car park, just a short walk from the Mill. Fisherton Mill is close to Salisbury railway station.
Access: Born to knit is reached by a staircase. We regret that The Mill has no disabled access to the first floor.
