Workshop — Learn how to Knit

Aimed at adults who would love to take up this absorbing and creative hobby for the first time, as well as those who perhaps learned as children but have forgotten! This evening workshop will take you through casting on and off, and the knit and purl stitch, before embarking on a scarf or cowl in a luxurious Peruvian alpaca/wool yarn.

7.00pm - 9:30pm
Venue: Born to Knit - Studio
Upstairs at Fisherton Mill, 108 Fisherton Street, Salisbury, SP2 7QY
Cost: £32 including yarn
How to book: A £10 deposit is needed to secure your place payable no later than a week before the event
Refreshments: Tea/Coffee, biscuits and jelly babies are included
Materials: If you already have a pair of size 5mm knitting needles, please bring them with you; otherwise needles can be purchased on the day.
Yarn for this workshop is included in the price.
Getting there: The nearest parking is in the Central car park, just a short walk from the Mill. Fisherton Mill is close to Salisbury railway station.
Access: Born to Knit is reached by a staircase. We regret that The Mill has no disabled access to the first floor.
