Workshop — Professional Finishing Techniques
This Workshop will help ensure that your finished knitting project looks its very best and reflects the time and enthusiasm you put into making it.
The evening covers...
- Blocking and pressing
- Sewing up seams
- Picking up stitches to make neck- and button-bands
- Making horizontal and vertical buttonholes.

| How to book: | A £10 deposit is needed to secure your place Pay this no later than a week before, by phone, post or by calling into our shop |
| Refreshments: | Tea/Coffee and biscuits are included. |
| Materials: | If you have a project that you have knitted and is waiting to be finished, please bring it along on the evening; alternatively, learn the finishing techniques on samples pieces that we can provide.
You will need to bring a bodkin or large-eyed darning or tapestry needles for the sewing up. We have small packs of bodkins for sale. Any yarn required can be provided. |
| Getting there: | The nearest parking is in the Central car park, just a short walk from the Mill. Fisherton Mill is close to Salisbury railway station. |
| Access: | The Gallery is reached by a staircase. We regret that The Mill has no disabled access to the first floor. |
