Light Aran weight wool from locally-sourced North Ronaldsay sheep.
These sheep are an endangered species, and their wool comes in an undyed, plain grey shade.
2 patterns (for a tea cosy and a rabbit toy) have been specially designed, and are free with purchases of the yarn.

Wodden knitting needlesNeedles

Born to Knit sells a range of wooden knitting needles. They are warm, smooth and ‘soft’ compared with metal or plastic needles, and much easier on the hands, as many arthritis sufferers have discovered.
Brittany (birch wood) needles 3.25mm - 10.0mm
Clover (bamboo) needles 2.0mm - 3.25mm, 7.0mm and 10.0mm
Knit Pro ‘Symfonie’ wooden circular needles - 2.0mm - 3.25mm in 40cms and 80 cms lengths, and 10.0mm in 80cms length.
